⚽There's More Than One Winner!
There's plenty more to smile about from this year's FIFA World Cup, aside from Messi being the star of the show of course:
🏆Africa's Heroes - The Atlas Lions
They say there's a first time for everything, and they aren't wrong. The African team has won hearts around the world by having made it to the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup for the very first time in history.
🏆Asian Football Makes Huge Strides
Another first in the tournament's history for Japan and South Korea for having qualified to the round of 16. Japan came out on top in their group against Euro-giants Spain and Germany. South Korea required a draw or a win against Portugal, which they acquired at 2-1.
🏆It's a W for Women

⚙️ How it works:
The system is anchored to structures like jetties and seawalls. The metal hulls - also known as "floaters" - house the hydraulic pistons which are powered by the alternating rising and falling movement of the waves which then powers a turbine stationed on land. The energy generated here is then sent to the grid through an inverter.

To meet this goal, The Nature Conservatory announced that it will work hand-in-hand with partners to buy a portion of Barbados' national debt and then refinance it.
In the conservation world, this program is known as "Blue Bonds".
Picture the size of Great Britain, then multiply that by two. It rounds up to around 158,000 square miles. That's the area of protection the island nation of Seychelles has established over a marine environment, owing to the Nature Conservancy Blue Bond finance accord in 2016.
